After the Peanut is honored to announce it's official philanthropic endeavors. As a company that believes in investing in leaders of the future, it was only a matter of time before we begin investing in them NOW!
Prior to After the Peanut being established, a scholarship was created in honor of the late Dave Evans. Dave Evans was a prominent figure in the education and community sector in Joliet, Illinois. The scholarship was created by his daughter Cathe Evans-Williams and After the Peanut CEO, Natalie Coleman. This scholarship is awarded annually to a Washington Jr. High School 8th grade graduate. Over time, and with a growing appreciation for "paying it forward" I have been inspired to start an additional scholarship.
In honor of my late god-brother Dr. Timmothy D. Bailey I have started a scholarship in his name. Applications for the Timmothy D. Bailey Scholarship will be available Spring 2017 for all Joliet Township High School Seniors. All awardees will be acknolwedged in May of 2017 and awarded funds upon proof of college enrollment funds will be released.
