Summer STEAM Camp will energize your child and immerse them into engaging, innovative and forward thinking STEAM experiences. Choose from 8 unique STEAM topics! Each week offers hands-on, real world, active STEAM activities for ages 9-17 years old. Our Summer STEAM Camp will be hosted at the state of the art Lewis University where your child will soar to new heights!

It’s the ultimate learning experience for campers with an interest in tech and robots. Campers will learn how to build robots and make the move through coding programs they create! It does not stop there! Campers will form teams and create their own "Battle Bot" to compete against others and experience the world of flight with Lewis University Aviation department!
Forensics & Medicine
June 27-July 1
Hands-on experiences will increase campers interests in biological sciences and medicine. Paired with Lewis University Faculty, camp attendees will explore forensics and medicine in a laboratory setting and solve a mock crime!

Well this is your opportunity to showcase your business in our Money Makers competition and win real cash! This week includes a tour of local businesses and mentoring from banking professionals.

Space Science & Engineering
Explore engineering through a summer course designed for motivated students with an aptitude toward math and science. Curiosities are fostered as campers learn to think and problem-solve like engineers. . Interacting with professional engineers will add to this enriching experience. This week includes a field trip to Olivet Nazarene's planetarium and our Star Lab experience!
Art & Museum Week
Dive into the A in STEAM this week! By creating and discovering great art, campers will learn all about the A in STEAM! This week provides an opportunity for campers to tap into their creative side, honing their skills in drawing, painting, sculpting, and design. A trip to the local glass blowing studio, museum, architect tour and so much more completes this artistic week!
Coding & Game Development
Unlocking brilliance and creativity this experience will build strengths in beginner students and support increasing proficiency levels. Students will learn how gaming systems work and move from consumers to designers of games and visit the Lewis University eSports Lounge. Students will also step into the world of the Metaverse, NFTs, and Virtual Reality(VR).
Eat. Sleep. Train. Repeat
Exploring nutrition, food science, and sports students will experience the relationship between foods and its effect on health. Campers will learn to consider chemical, biological, and physical properties of food in a fun environment. Campers will get the chance to meet collegiate and professional athletes and trainers, make smoothies and try new foods!
Save the Drama!
Stage make-up, costume design, colored fire, glow in the dark paint! These are just a few of the activities campers will be able to participate in as they step into the world of STEAM in Hollywood! Campers will learn the art of Improv, create their own play, perform and even design costumes!
This week’s experience is complete with a visit from a real world makeup artist!
